Tough Times For Hospitality

After the recent announcement we made to close our cafe ‘the bakers lounge’ we were overwhelmed by the amount of support we received and messages from other business owners who are also struggling. It seems harder now than at any other point since the start of the pandemic. Problems with sourcing stock, deliveries, staffing, rising prices across the board- it feels like the perfect Covid-Brexit Storm!

Nevertheless, us small business owners are a tough bunch and the beauty of being ‘small’ is that we can adapt and divert quickly! We have been carefully planning and managing stock levels ahead of the busy Christmas season and look forward to delivering (most) of your best loved products in store soon.
